MEDEA CALLS TO COLLECT

The author of this work, Peky Andino, uses the Greek tragedy to recreate the history of migration in Ecuador, during the worst years of the mass exodus from the country. The Ecuadorian Medea is a recreation of the Medea play by Euripides, about the witch who falls in love with Prince Jason, and is later betrayed and abandoned by him. In revenge, she murders their children and his new wife, condemning him to suffer the worst of deaths: loneliness.
