LOJADANZA BALLET SCHOOL

A classical ballet academy for children and young people, where students complement their ballet studies with contemporary dance, physical fitness, the history of dance, music, and theater, all applied to movement.

SARAGURO: THE STORY OF TOA AND MANCO

In this stage event, with 37 dancers, 33 choir members, and 73 on-stage musicians, Lojadanza Ballet Escuela is the city’s representative at the Festival. Through the use of various dance techniques, they will tell the story of two typical Saraguro peasants from the region of Loja, named Toa and Manco, through 24 picturesque, original scenes prepared in the ethno-contemporary style.
