ARAWA THEATER

This is a theater group created in 1983 by Juan Coba at the University of Guayaquil. For the past 20 years, Teatro Arawa has been host to Entupe (National Theater Encounter for Universities and Polytechnic Schools of Ecuador).

LIGHT BLUE

A wooden warrior with the gift of ubiquity, blinded by a firefly–or gentle light that comes up in the east– makes a trip to the past/present. Together with his co-pilot, who is a famed local superhero, they visited the missing links of a story that does not exist, but they play their roles with the modesty of an assassin, a patriot, or a butcher,  all being professions that work in blood, the fertile seed of the future. The action takes place (took place and will take place) in a port city.
